kluelos
The client will respect the orderly system shutdown request (though some versions of µtorrent will trash the torrent file if you don't shut it down separately first. µtorrent has never responded to the issue, so I don't know if that's ever been fixed.) If you have its options set to do so, the client should resume the transfers when it is reactivated. If it does not do these things, use a different client. greywizard
The smarter way, would be to close your client first, since if your tasklist is really big it might take quite long before BC performs all the operations prior to closing (i.e. notifying all the trackers, saving your tasklist). If it exceeds the system's default HungUp time and WaitToKillAppTimeout interval, it might get closed forcibly before it finished doing all that, and the results might not always be the best.
