andyr12352
If i open up a new window in IE8 it opens up with the same window/website I was on I find this handy - how do I do this in CometBird as when i open up a new window it just opens up my home page or blank if i set it to blank. Thanks.
greywizard
You have several options for that. The ones I know of, are: You can middle-click the Reload button on the toolbar to open a new tab with the same page. You can hold Ctrl pressed and drag the tab to the right until a downwards arrow appears. Then you release it and the new tab will be with the same page. Alternatively you can use this add-on and select current page.
andyr12352
Thanks for that info that i didnt know about. But I hate using tabs (I know I am the minority and the majority love tabbed browsing) so what i want to do is open up a new window with the current page loading not a new tab. Thanks. Please use the "Fast Reply" option, unless there is a specific reason for quoting the post directlly prior to your own. greywizard
Well, just right-click on the current page's tab and choose "Open in a New Window". Or if you're keen on swimming upstream try any of these extensions: Clone Window Tab To Window. I haven't used any of them though, so, I can't say if they work as you wish.
