ess_els
My copy of bit comet had been working well for many months but just prior to my vacation the program would lockup and I would be forced to close the program and re load from the disk. This went on for a couple of weeks and no loss of data was detected. I went away for a couple of weeks and on my return I booted up and to my surprise my bit comet page was blank. All my torrents at various stages of download had been deleted. I used windows explorer to search for the downloads on the C drive and they were all still there as they had been prior to the holidays. My problem is I am not sure what to do to get this information and the torrents from the archive back to the bitcomet screen. I have limited confidence so I would appreciate a set by step solution for a bitcomet dummy. Many thanks ess_els
Vasy
Hi! Read this first then go to the BitComet installation folder and rename the file Downloads.xml.bak to Downloads.xml
