Maybe you should check the Wiki Help pages to start learning a little bit more about BitComet and torrents in general, and especially start with: Using BitComet to Download Torrents Using BitComet to Download Files (HTTP/FTP protocols) Also the BitComet FAQ section of the Wiki will answer most of your current and future questions about possible issues that you may encounter.
