greywizard
OMG. I used a single line in my post and you still couldn't read the whole question. I asked for OS and BitComet version, not OS only. Does this happen for every single file you try to get by either HTTP or FTP, on any site? If it happens only for this site or only for that file, then the answer is in the log themselves; the file you're trying to download is arriving corrupted and your client tries to re-download it, as it assumes it may have gotten corrupt due to transmission errors. kluelos
ftp uses only a single source for its downloads, and therefore, can be bound to a single path between you and that source. If there is a problem anywhere along the way between them and you, this can introduce noise and result in garbled transmissions quite aside from other network errors. That means that it's quite possible to repeatedly error-out on an ftp transfer. This is one of its vulnerabilities and there's not much you can do about it. Perhaps you can try later or on another day and it might work better, since network routings aren't static and a different route may avoid the trouble spot(s).
