greywizard
1. You need to be sure you acknowledge the difference between Mb, Kb and MB, KB. 1KB (kilobyte)= aprox. 8Kb (kilobits). Therefore, make sure that: you have the numbers in the right measuring unit (your ISP in the contract and many measuring tools give the speed in Kb but BitComet uses KB); you have values that you tested on a speed testing site such as speedtest.net (while your PC wasn't using any other Internet program, so that you can get accurate results).Furthermore, it's wise to try and test in several times of the day (or even several days of the week) to get a more accurate picture of the average speeds you can get. 2. Once you've learned your real average upload speed (make sure you have it in KB) you have to limit global upload rate in BitComet at 80% of that. 3. If you really intend to have some bandwidth saved for other applications currently, you can also limit the download speed to something lower than your maximum tested, so that other apps have some room. greywizard
First try, limiting your max connections number (in Options-->Advanced-->network.max_connections) to something lower like 300-400 or even 200, to see if that makes any difference. If it doesn't, than you should go ahead and also disable LT-Seeding and DHT. See what you get from this.
