k0nv1kt Posted September 13, 2010 Share Posted September 13, 2010 i was wondering i have dn ok speed 250kb max it was only 30 before i port forwarded (10010) and i was dl and upldn like crazy and my max kbs went to almost 500 and it went back down to 250kbs right away is there something i can do that will allow it to remain at those speeds(500kbs) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Vasy Posted September 13, 2010 Share Posted September 13, 2010 You cannot do anything about your download speed past opening a port and making sure you have as much upload bandwidth as you can (but not more than 80% of your maximum) for that task. Most internet connections that have a max download speed of 500kB/s have a much slower upload rate, so hitting that maximum download speed will be rare.
