dcq100
What search engines would you use to find a particular torrent?
The UnUsual Suspect
I like isohunt, but if your a usa user, the service is quite limited now due to legal reasons.
kluelos
You can use google, with the "filetype:torrent" parameter There is an ok web site, stickley.com, which searches several sites. Nobody, though, is very good at that. You'll end up pretty frustrated with multi-site search. There's a search tool, a separate application, called "Bit-Che". "Che" means "friend" in Spanish, but the app still has a very unfortunate name for a native English-speaker. It's often misreported as malware. There's a free version and a paid version. It's better than most web searches. Last I looked they were considering changing the name, so that may have happened by now. Isohunt searches a very limited number of other sites. It's usable from the US via a free proxy elsewhere. Also take a look at BTJunkie, which amalgamates several sites, but less well.
minerva2athena
You can search alot of torrent websites at once using a torrent meta-search engine such as http://megatorrentz.com.Hope this helps.

Ossie7
torrentz.com, they combine alot of popular search engines (like TPB and 1337x) and generate a list of all websites that got that torrent and gives a list of the files and seeders/leechers on that torrent. They also got a rating system
Dark_Shroud
I know this is late, but I wouldn't recommend kickass torrents as they banned all versions of BitComet. And have caused BitComet to be banned at other sites as well as preventing some of us from getting it unbanned. +1 for Torrentz.com, though now its http://torrentz.eu/ for legal reasons. kluelos
This topic is about search engines. Advertising private trackers here is neither appropriate or permitted.
