T_Azam
Hi! I have just installed Norton360 on my computer but I don't know exactly which .exe file path I should be selecting so that the downloads of Bit comet are scanned at download finish. Please help me to solve this problem. thanks for everything, bye.
Vasy
It's not just the path but you'll need the parameters too. Every program responds to the commands it was programmed to. You can always do trial and error and plain guesswork but I'd first ask the guys at symantec.
kluelos
This requires a DOS-based, command-line scanner, not a GUI application. Norton is generally discommended as incompatible with bittorrent. You can find freeware that performs the same tasks and is better-behaved. I suggest access-based scanning by your AV client. I used the internal scan for years without ever detecting any problems, including those which an access-based scan did catch. The internal scan is not just ineffective, it's also extremely disruptive, popping up a command shell window into the middle of whatever you're doing whenever a download finishes. Finally I disabled the internal scan and have been satisfied without it for about a year now.
