Ossie7
What are the specifications of your laptop? Not any computer is powerful enough to play big MKV movies.
divadmil
Dell Studio 1458 Intel® Core i5 CPU M520 @ 2.40 GHz is it because my screen is too small so i cant play 1080p , i can only play 720p
greywizard
What is the video codec of the file? Can you play any 720p file encoded with the same video codec? What do you mean by "the video is not moving"? Does the video look as a still image (photo) or is it a blank screen?
divadmil
i can play 720p , just cant play 1080p. cause when you PLAY/STOP. there will write PLAY/STOP. PLAYING <-- wrote there... but not moving , cause starting is 00:00 > 00:01 right? it not moving the sec. i think is cant play la. but i don't receive any error. my bro dell laptop the screen size is larger than mine , and i have no problems playing on dekstop. i guess my laptop screen is too small to play 1080p video? :(
Ossie7
screensize should not be the problem, I can run 1080p on a smaller screen aswell. After a bit of searching I found that your laptop has a some good hardware and should be fine with 1080p movies. Maybe you can try and get another 1080p movie and see if that one works/
