TanKCR
I downloaded the new beta and installed it, but was disappointed to see that Firefox 4 support still hasn't been added, and I use that feature constantly. kluelos
I am puzzled. In what way do you expect BitComet to "support" any version of Firefox? They're completely separate applications with separate purposes, and they work entirely separately as well.
The UnUsual Suspect
I think he means the browser integration. There has yet to be a FF4.0 compatible extension released.
TanKCR
Thanks Guardian Eagle, that was exactly what I meant, sorry.
greywizard
The very definition of a "beta" software means "not completed" as far as both features and bug-fixes go.
The UnUsual Suspect
also, release notes will definitely state if the new extension is included, so you don't need to install it to find out. Also, this is nothing new with firefox. Ever major release version is always incompatible for hundreds of extensions, usually for a few months. Keep in mind that ALL extensions are free, so are developed in someones free-time. Very few developers release on day one. I've also found that every major release of firefox had serious bugs. I won't install 4.x for a few months unless there is a compelling reason. 3.x does everything I want it to do.
