Sunt posesoare de Windows 7, modem de la orange HUAWEI E1752, Kaspersky 2011.

Problema la tine este Orange, toate porturile sunt blocate de la ei, și asta e valabil pentru toate conexiunile la internet printr-un modem wireless usb de la toate companiile de internet. (ZAPP, Vodafone, etc).

Realistically speaking, yes. But you can always hasten your white hair growth by calling Orange support about this problem...

If your connection uses a cellular modem, then your only hope is to ask the provider for a dedicated port to use. I've never heard of one actually doing that though.

One other thing you can try is getting BitComet version 1.02 and enable "Nat Traversal". It uses "udp hole punching" to achieve remote peer connections. This feature was removed in version 1.03 to "improve tcp connection efficiency", so 1.02 is the most recent version to support this technology.

Daca conexiunea ta folosește un modem celular, atunci singura ta speranță ar fi să ceri distribuitorului un port dedicat pentru asta. Deși nu am mai auzit de unul care chiar ar face asta.

O altă idee ar fi să încerci versiunea mai veche 1.02 de BitComet și să activezi funcția „Traversarea NAT". Aceasta folosește tehnica de „găurire prin udp" pentru a obține conexiuni de la alți parteneri. Această funcție a fost scoasă in versiunea 1.03 pentru „a îmbunătăți eficiența conexiunilor TCP, așa că 1.02 e cea mai recentă versiune care folosește această tehnologie.

Momentan am sa incerc cu varianta BitComet-ului 1.02;ideea e ca intr-o luna si ceva imi schimb netul, in sensul ca acum am modem usb si pe viitor o sa fie wireless dar cred ca voi schimba providerul.

Momentarily I'll try BitComet 1.02. The thing is that in about a month I'll change my internet connection, meaning that now I have an usb modem and in the future I'll still have wireless internet but I think I'll change my provider.

You'll get rid of this problem when you'll have a wired connection, preferably FIOS from RDS or any other provider depending on the area you live in.

Wireless connections aren't intended to support file transfers at all, and the providers usually do everything that they can to discourage it. Their networks were created to support voice traffic, which has a completely different profile than normal internet use.

A telephone call is usually quite quick, then it's over. A particular cell tower can support a lot of these.

A file transfer is usually lengthy, and a particular tower can't support very many of these before its bandwidth is consumed. The economics of the business discourage internet usage other than quick email or browsing sessions. You should always keep this in mind when dealing with general wireless service, particularly when cities and towns want to tax you to implement it. It's going to have this limitation, almost certainly, and most people won't understand that in time to make sure it isn't done that way.

If you get a vote, vote "no" to this sort of service and try to make sure your neighbors vote "no", too. Don't waste your tax money on half an internet.

Oh, don't worry, tax payer money are not wasted that way here. It's spent wisely on the mayor's (or any other politician who respects himself) villa(s), limousine(s), vacations, some of those things need maintenance ,, gas.. etc. so it's for very important things for the community. And when we vote, we vote for the one who manages to convince us that s/he'll steal the least.

A, nu-ți face griji, banii contribuabililor nu sunt irosiți în acel fel aici. Sunt cheltuiți cu mare chibzuință pe ale primarului (sau oricare alt politician care se respectă) vile, limuzine, vacanțe, multe din aceste lucruri au nevoie de mentenanță,,, benzină.. etc. deci pe lucruri importante pentru comunitate. Iar când votăm, votăm pentru cel/a care ne convinge că va fura cel mai puțin.

Nu ma gandeam ca a mea cerere de ajutor va crea un subiect complex,elaborat si bine pus la punct despre...politica ....

Eu raman cu incapatanare pe subiect si ca sa clarific ceva: nu am cum sa iau de la rds intrucat nu stau in Ro..sunt in Uk acum asa ca astept propuneri de provideri buni de folosit la transferul de date .

I'll stubbornly stay on topic to clarify something: I can't get RDS because I don't live in Romania, I'm in UK now, so I expect proposals about what ISPs are good for data transfers.

You'll need a local's opinion on this, preferably one of your neighbors. An ISP can provide good services in one area and bad services in other areas. From what I see by searching on Google, PlusNET is the most popular when it comes to wired services in the UK.
