Batlord
Hi guys I've been a casual user of bitcomet for a while now, and some files I get sent via the web are downloaded using BC. However, over the past few days it's stopped connecting. After trawling through the forum I've seen people with the same problem, and one reply was that it shouldn't affect downloads. Well, I can't download anything - it tries for a while then the dreaded red cross appears! I'm using version 1.13 (yeah I know its old...tried downloading the latest version but, er, Bitcomet won't allow it) I use an adsl connection with a modem - pretty sure its not the issue as windows lets me download other files fine. I'm on vista, and antivirus is avira. Like I said, never had any issues before...any ideas? Cheers guys

The UnUsual Suspect
The "red cross" could be caused by many things, such as a full harddrive. If you hover over it, you should get more info. Glad you managed to solve the problem though.
