shredhappy101 Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 By going to the comment's tab, rating the torrent, then selecting the summary tab, then clicking back on the comment's tab, BitComet enables you SPAM the votes good or bad continuously as long as the process is repeated. The UnUsual Suspect Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 With the number of active torrents worldwide at close to a million at any given moment, it would be impossible to moderate comments on them. The only thing BitComet could possibly do would be to remove the feature if users cannot use it responsibility, but a better option would be to simply ignore it, or accept that there will be abused if you do decided to use it. Vasy Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 This could be resolved client side by using a variable for each task to remember that you already voted for that task. But those that use older versions could still cheat. A database on the server side is out of the question for the reason TuuS mentioned above, it would get too big to store within days and it would add privacy issues we don't need.
