ranosb
Why some times when I turn the computer on to continue seeding a torrent that was 100% it then hash checks and shows only 99.xx% and starts downloading again? It does this to torrents THAT I CREATED, THEY WERE UPLOADED BY ME?! HELLO!
The UnUsual Suspect
This can happen if any of the files in the torrent have changed, even by one byte. Some files change as you use them, logs for example, other times people mistakenly put something like "thumbs.db" files in torrents and changing your folder options will change that file. After the rehash, look at your files progress and see which one/s aren't at 100%, that is a good place to start.
kluelos
I have had this happen to me, for some very old torrents indeed. I can have been seeding along for months, only to find that somehow, abruptly, I only have 99% of the torrent. I know not to include things like thumbs.db and folder.ini files in my torrents -- in fact, I have my whole system set not to use/create either. These are just anecdotes, though. I can't prove it or reliably re-create it.
greywizard
I remember it happening to me as well with 1 or 2 torrents a while ago. The piece that was always missing was the last piece in the torrent, for some reason. I wasn't able to reproduce that either.
