Adding search engines to BitComet

Hi all.

As with utorrent, where you can add search engines, is it possible with BitComet?

BC is now my preference for torrent downloads and I would like to use the same option as utorrent.

I want to add a particular torrent website.

Any help?

The feature has been pretty well deprecated and is certainly no longer being maintained. Most of us found that just using our regular web browsers and bookmarking favorite torrent sites worked very well. There's no real need to involve either client until you've actually found and downloaded a torrent.

We used to have a guide for editing the sites, but as kluelos points out, maintaining these lists and keeping them upto date is a full time job, and being freeware, it's not something bitcomet is able to do, but if you're resourceful you can look at your .xml config files and I'm sure you'll figure out how to edit them and add any sites you like. It might even be nice if members offered their favorite lists to share with other members, but I find it easier to search from my browser.
