liquidreplicant
I have scoured the cometbird forums and cant find the answer. How do i disable the autocomplete? For example when i go to youtube and type in a search term, the autocomplete will suggest words that I have typed in before. It will do this on classified websites that I use as well. I would love to turn this off. Ideally, I dont want it to suggest any search terms. I have chrome and mozilla firefox and dont know if these are connected to the problem, but any help or links would be appreciated, LiquidReplicant
kluelos
How and whether you can do this very much depends on the version. This is a Firefox feature, and not a CometBird feature as such. Since FireFox has danced the autocomplete feature all around the options menu, and now seems to have removed it entirely on the latest versions, your best bet is to look at the corresponding FF version to find out how to turn it off, if that can be done. liquidreplicant
Really? This should be a simple solution for the cometbird experts. Someone would surely have to have a solution. There should be somewhere on cometbird to dismantle this. Thanks in advance again, LR
kluelos
Not without knowing which version you are using -- which, even after a gentle hint, you have still neglected to mention. There probably is a way, but you've been told how to help yourself for this and similar problems in the future.
