grouzdev
Hello. Sometimes BitComet (1.29) clones folders download list, screenshot in attach. Thanks, hope you can fix it.
The UnUsual Suspect
Showing a screenshot of some random folders doesn't demonstrate any bug in the software.
grouzdev
Random folders? There are 2 folders in root - "Les Sins" and "Toro Y Moi", but in download list is 3 folders "Les Sins" and 4 folders "Toro Y Moi", so two folders breaked to seven. kluelos
Since they are different sizes, they are clearly not duplicates or copies generated by BitComet. They have different content. Whatever they are, it looks like they're actually present.
grouzdev
Ok, there another illustration, screenshot from BitComet and from tracker. You can see that one floder "Les Sins" shows as 3 different folders:
greywizard
Does this happen every time or only on certain occasions? If it occurs only sporadically, then post the links to the torrent files or post the magnet links here. You might wanna upgrade to v.1.31 and check if you still get the same behavior, there's no point in reporting this to the team if the thing is not present in the last version. thorgaz
I never seem to understand why people do not update there BitCoemt when there are updates ready lol. I mean the DEV TEAM are hard at work making this new code for your update for a reason & you will find that Updating your program Can & Will on 99% of the time WILL sort most problems out. So People who read this. Please if you have a problem, Try UPDATING first & see if the problem is still present ;) It'll save a lot of time for the MODS here to give help to those with problems updating can not sort out. grouzdev
Once again: auto-updater updated to version 1.29, that's why I thought that is the latest stable version.
The UnUsual Suspect
Unlike some other clients, we don't mind users sticking with a version that works well for them, but obviously it's wise to try the latest version if there is a problem. I'm not the type to update software if there is no reason to, and sometimes new versions do have new issues, but if you want to try a new version without actually installing it, download the .zip file for that version (link in signature), extract the file and run it, just make sure your installed version is fully shut down, you don't want both running at the same time. greywizard
auto-updater updated to version 1.29 For some reasons the team doesn't always automatically consider the last released version as the "most stable", hence the automatic updater will usually not get you the last existent version of BitComet. If you want to make sure you have the last version, it's a good idea to check manually on the site. I'm not most thrilled about this whole thing, but that's the way it is for now.
