imayneed
I just installed the latest bitcomet today, and I realized that it saves the torrent and xml files in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\BitComet\torrents. Is there any way to change that folder? I couldn't find it in the settings. Edited March 5, 2012 by imayneed (see edit history)
greywizard
Yes, you can reinstall it in a folder of your choice, other than the \Program Files folder. Then it should store the torrents in the same folder.

The UnUsual Suspect
Also, just to be clear about this, it's not bitcomet that stores your data in that location, it's windows that moves it there. Windows stopped letting programs store user data in the "program files" folder starting with vista. There are some advantages to this change, but it wasn't well received my many and has caused much confusion.
