Gaz97
Guys, I need help.I'm unable to download stuff since yesterday.I've getting this message at the log section, "2013-07-12 00:17:06 Failed writing file: G.I..Joe_.Retaliation.2013.720p.BluRay.x264.YIFY.srt [The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation context]"And now it is, "An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist". I've been doing some research but found nothing really useful. And, no, I don't have Internet Explorer cause, i couldn't find it on my remove program list. Gaz97
sorry guys, the other post i was talking about, the one with more info, it was removed by the moderator, i guess they thought i was spamming. So im gonna give the info here again, im using windows 7, and a kaspersky internet security programmme. And i found two reports that regarding this matter from the forum here, but sadly there was no solution provided and that was a year + ago.One of the techinicans claimed that he had had the same prob but it only lasted for 6-8 months.Yeah this happened, i had a BSOD caused by igdpmd64.sys.So i ran a scan with my DLL suite but detect no error regarding the file.So I am hoping you guys can shed some light on this. Thanks in advanced
The UnUsual Suspect
Try hovering over the red "X" on the task and see if it provides you more information. The red "X" usually means that bitcomet cannot write the files in that location which could be a windows permissions error or a drive that's full or not available. Gaz97
Yeah i did that, it says "The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation context" or sometimes it was, "An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist" if i tried to restart the torrent too many times. The UnUsual Suspect
Internet explorer is part of your windows operating system, not something you can remove. I'm not sure what is causing this error other than the fact that bitcomet is trying to read or write to your harddrive and windows is generating this error. I'll try the torrent if you like and see if I get the same error, but I suspect this is a windows problem and not directly related to bitcomet
greywizard
If you just google both your errors you'll see that these are related mostly to IE/Windows issues. You can try re-installing BitComet first (maybe there is a corrupted DLL somewhere) but if it still doesn't work then it's definitely your OS that screwing up.
