The UnUsual Suspect
Anyone serious about getting help should read this topic. http://www.cometforums.com/topic/12793221-please-read-this-before-posting/ You've seen links for it, they are all throughout the forum and in my signature. There is also an article on this issue at wiki.bitcomet.com http://wiki.bitcomet.com/known_client_issues_and_incompatibilities#my_file_download_stops_at_9xx__what_can_i_do_about_that I can't really give you any specific help because you didn't provide any of the required info, but if you can't figure it out from this, when you reply you could also include some task info like if other peers are stuck at the same level, how many seeds/peers are present, have you de-selected any files, if more than one file, which are not yet complete. The amount of rubbish data could be a clue too. In addition to the list in that article there are times when a task will have no seeders because those who downloaded the torrent have de-selected one or two small files and can never be true seeders. There are also cases where anti-virus or security programs detect a perceived threat (real or otherwise) and delete it from a piece of data resulting it the piece failing hash check and the piece is discarded and redownloaded. This can continue indefinitely until discovered and stopped. In this case there should be a log in your AV program of a threat removed multiple times. In most cases these are patches, hacks, keygens etc that are detected as false positives.
sunstoke
Hi There, I have been having the same issue for a couple of months now too. Bitcomet V1.37 FF V26.0 Windows 7 64bit Home Premium Billion 7800N using ethernet cable, not wireless. Port fowarding should not be an issue as the file gets to ~90+% before it stops. Comodo Internet Security, Spybot & Advanced System Care I seem to be able to download torrents ok from public (free) websites like Pirate Bay (RIP), but I don't use these very much, so I can't say for 100% certain. But I mainly use Warez-bb.org to d/load stuff from. With Warez-bb.org, no files are hosted on their website, only private (paid) download sites like Uploaded, File Factory, Rapidgator, etc. With these private websites, there is no option to restart the download, you have to start from the beginning again, which when you are on a 6mbit ADSL link, and file sizes of 1GB, this can be inconvenient as well as adding to my monthly download limit. As far as I can tell, nothing major has changed on my computer - only Windows & anti virus updates. Let me know if you need any further info. Also are there any newer versions of Bitcomet in the pipeline, or, is Bitcomet V1.37 compatible with newer versions of Firefox? Thanks in advance :-) Cheers Tim Edited January 3, 2015 by sunstoke (see edit history)

You can restart broken downloads but the server has to support this feature. If you want to continue with these direct download sites you might have to get a download manager that they support or convince them to support bitcomet. If you need further help please make a new topic.
