How can I set it up / tell bitcomet to watch that same folder for new torrents and start downloads automatically. Im trying to connect BitComet with Sonarr, so when Sonarr put the .torrent files in chosen folder, Bitcomet will see it and start download. We did have a member here that wrote a script that served this function, but I've never used it myself. If I recall it used bitcomet's command line switches, so it's possible your app may work if you can adjust it to launch BC with the right script, and if you do figure out a way to accomplish this, please share it with the community here so others can enjoy. Here is a small article on command line switches... http://wiki.bitcomet...et_command_line You can also invoke a list of switches by typing "bitcomet.exe -h" from a commandline assuming you're in bitcomet's folder or it's in the path. shamsafar Posted May 17, 2016 Share Posted May 17, 2016 O' Great Guardian BitComet is a really great app to download torrent files & thanks for that, but it lacks one important feature "Monitoring a folder for torrent files and auto add them to download list" You see there are some great apps like Sonarr (https://sonarr.tv/) as mentioned by pitbull775 and also others like Sickrage (https://sickrage.github.io/), Sickbeared (http://sickbeard.com/), TorrentRover (https://www.torrentrover.com/), MediaCenterMaster (http://www.mediacentermaster.com/),CouchPotato (https://couchpota.to/), They all in common according to your criteria automate finding an downloading your desired torrents then save them to a specific folder for your torrent client to start download them :D. Generally speaking these software are useful to to find torrents of new TV episodes & Movies (which is a painful and time consuming task if you ask me :rolleyes:). So if you could ask your software development team to consider adding such functionality in future releases to BitComet, WE :ph34r: TORRENT COMMUNITY USERS WILL BE GRATEFUL. I dont know how to use command line switches to make a script for that function so I'll have to find another solution. Hopefully monitoring a folder for torrent files and auto add them to download list or watch folder will come in new versions of Bitcomet.
