GoldenVirginia1
Hello all!! Aside from not being able to access the forum as GoldenVirginia 😞... I have a "problem" with Malwarebytes and BitComet. BitComet [shows] outgoing connections, different from the assigned port previously alotted for downloads and Malwarebytes blocks them as trojans... Is it normal for the program to [make] outgoing connections different from the assigned port? ... and... Is Malwarebytes acting properly or are they false positives? Regards to all and a hug for Cassie, I await the translation and reply 🙂 .......................... Un abrazo, GoldenVirginia. 🙂
GoldenVirginia1
Saludos Hello 🙂 Now Malwarebytes has blocked the start of BitComet... Is this the same false positive as when the AV blocks the installation of BitComet? (topic mentioned in this thread...) What has me baffled is that it happens with the executable... Regards. Edited October 18, 2020 by cassie (see edit history)
gabri2ktommy
Malwarebytes is similar at roguekiller. Evidently malwarebytes recognize bitcomet as a malware.. I have Avast firewall+antivirus (i had add it as exception) and roguekiller for malware. In detail what is the message when you open file.exe? GoldenVirginia1
hello gabri2ktommy when I am working with bitcomet the Malwarebytes detects outgoing connections through different ports as you can see in the screenshot I upload With the antivirus and firewall I have no problem is the Malwarebytes who gives constant warnings when running the BitComet. I would make an exception for BitComet, but only if it is a false positive. Greetings! Hola, gabri2ktommy. ¡Saludos! Edited October 18, 2020 by cassie (see edit history)
Rhubarb
¡No existe ninguno! Edited October 18, 2020 by cassie (see edit history)
gabri2ktommy
@RhubarbYes, but software detect Bitcoimet as a malware when it is running. I think your post refer at different problem. So I try make an exclusion . I dont write spanish so I leave transation to others . Rhubarb
It's not Bitcomet but probably the file you are downloading. Almost every key generator is flagged as a 'virus' because it alters settings.
