rambleon
ok, while it's not life changing in the slightest, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to do this... I used to use Azureus as my client and recently switched to Bitcomet. Even though I uninstalled Azureus, when I download torrent files they still appear as the 'blue frog' icon. Not the smartest of questions, but is there any way of associating these files so they appear as Bitcomet files when downloaded? Thanks in advance folks
dimchopicha2003
open windows explorer->tools->folder options->file types: scroll down to "torrent" file extension->choose advanced->choose change icon->choose browse->browse to "bitcomet.exe" file in your program dir.->open it-> you will get three icons-> choose the default icon for bc files -> the one with white sheet and a bc icon over it. enjoy :)
kluelos
Preferences->Advanced-> make sure Default Bittorrent Client is checked, save, and restart your system.
dimchopicha2003
There are many times that the icons are bugged no matter that you uninstalled the program associated with them or you have restarted your pc 9*9 times. Thats why it is good to know the above method.
