big_aman
Hi all, I have just downloaded Bitcomet. I could not understand the help files. As of now, its showing DHT not connected. I am using windows firewall in which the Bitcomet applications have been allowed through exceptions. My internet connection is Wireless, so i am not sure about the ip being static or dynamic. Does it matter? which port should I be using for this software. How do i make sure my UDP ports are correct. this is the log that i got while downloading a torrent file. The UnUsual Suspect
If you want your bit torrent downloads to function correctly on your wireless lan, you will need to setup port forwarding on your router, and you should also set a static ip address in windows, if you don't do this, you could have to change your router settings when you reboot your computer. Here is an excellant source for guides in setting up your router... http://portforward.com/ Their guides have graphics and will walk you through the whole process for your make and model of router. They also have a guide for setting your static ip address in windows. Suspect

Dark_Shroud
Please don't post the same thing. I deleted your other post of this. Now here is a slightly edited version of what I posted to you before I deleted those psots. A few more things, for starters turn off UPnP & IP Filter.
