The UnUsual Suspect Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 your systemboard bios will need to have support for the specified hard disc drive. There are also IDE cards that you can add to replace your hard drive controller if its an older one. There are even software programs that can translate the larger hard drives to work on older systems. However, the best option is to upgrade your bios, or system board.
