Dark_Shroud
The big problem with Vista seems to be with permissions. We've already forwarded this to RnySmile to make some modifications to fix the problem. The quick and dirty way to fix this is to install BitComet into the shared folder instead of Program files folder.
alrawi
i have another question about visra? is there any way to increase the tcpip port connections to more than 50?
drkaj
I had the same problem. The reason is that i only created one user on my Vista system, which is administrator by default. In this case, the UAC (User Account Control) feature is on, which causes extra security checks to be applied (Also you have to accept even creating a new folder in the file structure). After i turned of this feature, everything worked as expected. Go to Control Panel User Accounts Press User Accounts again (Great OS :-) ) Change Security Settings Remove the Check mark in "Use User Account Control....." - K man

Dark_Shroud
is there any way to increase the tcpip port connections to more than 50? Don't even try the LvlLord patch with Vista. Vista is very different under the hood from previous Windows versions. Just ignore the 4226 and leave bitcomet's default setting to 8 and you'll be fine.
