spiderman26
The tracker of an old download got deleted so i resumed my 49% download with a new torrent with the same name I've been through the hash check and now it's only showing 24% downloaded. How can this be?? :o
The UnUsual Suspect
Its possible the torrent was not prepared the same way, for example some folder names might be different. Most of the time your new torrent will not recognise any of the previous files. Also, if this is the exact same files, but different size pieces, then only the files that were complete have passed hash check, as partial files will need to start over from beginning. I think you were very lucky you were able to continue at all. Suspect

realutd7
if you set it up properly, you can continue downloading the torrent just make sure you put in the right location of the file when its in bitcomet, then do a hash check

Can I add this (half way downloaded) torrent to Bitcomet? Thanks when you start this torrent in bit comet, the partial downloaded files must be in your download folder, it will then scan (rehash) the files and continue the download. One thing you may want to check is if your previous client added to the incomplete file names, like bit comet can do ".bc". If so, you have have to rename the files to remove that extension, as I am unsure if bit comet can do that (sounds like a test I should do) Suspect
