If you want all your downloads saved to your "D" drive, then click on "preferences"

Then "tasks"

Then default download location, then simply set to where you partial downloads are located.

Now when you stall all torrents they will save there.

Suspect

i have done exactly what you guys have suggested thanks.

now that the new WindowsXP is installed, i installed bitcomet also under c:\program files\bitcommet

I have re-define the default dl path;

options>preferences>task (default download path is d:\download)

I have succesfully dled a few movies using that setting.

Next, i 'copied' all the .bc! files (from crashed HDD) into the new hdd (d:\download)

i restart my PC.

i can see the partially files i am currently dling.

but bitcomet unable to see/resume the 'copied' .bc! files.

what am i doing wrong here?

please help, and thanks in advance.
