artisticcrazy
My apologies if this has been asked before, but I've read through a few topics and couldn't find anything. I'm very new to bitcomet, and recently visited a friends house where I downloaded quite a lot of content. However, I had to leave before all of the files had finished downloading. I saved the *.bc! files to a dvd (or 2) and have installed bitcomet onto my computer, and copied the *.bc! files into the 'download' folder under program files/bitcomet/. However, when I open bitcomet, there are no files there. I'm sure this has a very simple solution and I'll feel very silly for asking, but I'll be so grateful if someone could help me out. Dark_Shroud
Right click on the .torrent file and run a hash check. You do have the .torrent file right?
kluelos
You need the .torrent files as well as the unfinished dowloads. If you don't have them, you'll need to get them, either by downloading them from the site you got them from the first time (note that it needs to be the exact same torrent, not just sorta like it), or have your friend email the torrent files to you. They're small, so that shouldn't be a problem.
