LerT
Very confused about this, it downloads really slow at 40 kB or lower, And its not a firewall issue bc i dont have a software firewall and windows is turned off, Ports are forwarded, i have followed the instructions on the azureus and couple other sites i have been reading though numerous forums. I really just confused about why its going so slow and DHT isnt connected. Any help would be greatly appericated. bitdave
40 KB/s may not be that slow depending on the torrent your downloading. You dont really need the DHT Network to download and it wont really speed things up unless you're unable to connect to the tracker or there are no seeds/peers connected to the tracker. As for getting it connected, DHT uses UDP so make sure you have a forwarding rule for UDP in your router. Also the Linksys i believe has an option for SPI or some other Global rule which may be blocking the UDP connections.
LerT
Oh ok, well i didnt know about the linksys global thing, so that must be it cause i have done everything to try and make my DHT system to work with azur i get nat error and that was just a pain. What about if the file im tryin to get has 43 seeders and 429 leechers and its not even downloading? Im not sure about the tracker thing doesnt every torrent have a tracker? if so how do i know if im connected to tracker?
