pickledbiscuit
Hi, I have a hardware and software firewall setup, every single time I download a torrent I get repeated warnings saying that I am being attacked, but the attacks originate from my own computer's internal network IP address...Does anyone else get this? Why is my own PC attacking me!?
bitdave
Your PC doesnt like you and has decided to mess with your head. jk Those may not be attacks, unless your computer has been compromised by a worm. Make sure that you regularly run Spybot S&D and Adaware SE to take care of those and other nasties that antivirus software may not look for. More then likely it is just an overachieving firewall that thinks all the UDP connections that the DHT Network makes is a worm trying to spread. To test this go into Bitcomets preferences and uncheck the DHT Network, then exit Bitcomet and start it again. See if you still get these so-called attacks.
