greenMind
Could anyone explain me what exactly option 'Manual connect' (in task popup menu) and 'KB/s Peer Dn' column (in 'Peers' listview) mean? Thanks in advance.

kwokwai
Could anyone explain me what exactly option 'Manual connect' (in task popup menu) and 'KB/s Peer Dn' column (in 'Peers' listview) mean? Thanks in advance. My opinion is that "Manual connect" does not do anything for BC users!
Dark_Shroud
It scrapes the tracker and DHT looking for more peers to connect to. Don't waste your time with it. All this option really does now is make people angry because newbie users will pound away on it unknowingly flooding everyone with requests. Starfire
I'll usually hit it once every 30 minutes or so. Or if I modify my dl/ul caps.
Dark_Shroud
Using it after changing settings is one of the few reasons that would be ok. Other wise there is no reasons to use it. Because the program is already on a set cycle for scraping the tracker. And this cycle is set by the tracker.
mchead22
uhhhhh what? well look, lets say a file has 2000 peers and i'm only connected 54 of them. Now, none of these 54 i'm connected to have 100% of the file therefore basically stopping my d/l once i reach however much they have dled. Is it safe to assume that SOMEONE in the rest of those 1946 peers has 100%? and if so, is there anyway to connect to one/many of them?
