diamondis
I have a question about that port forwarding thing. I tried to do it numerous times but my download speeds still suck, or is 15kb/s normal for 400+ seeders and 12 Dloaders? (Im guessing no lol) Is belin a bad router? or is it because im not actually connected to the main router that the port forwarding doesnt work? im confused >< and a noob :/ so sry if this made NO sense
kluelos
Why don't you try understanding and explaining your network setup? If we can understand it, we might be able to offer some suggestions.
Dark_Shroud
Make sure you're using BitComet 0.70 and read through our settings guide.
RedEx
I have a question about that port forwarding thing. I tried to do it numerous times but my download speeds still suck, or is 15kb/s normal for 400+ seeders and 12 Dloaders? (Im guessing no lol) Is belin a bad router? or is it because im not actually connected to the main router that the port forwarding doesnt work? im confused >< and a noob :/ so sry if this made NO sense Similar problem i suppose.... Download speed never exceeds 10kbs, same for upload. I've read the FAQ through and through, followed the steps on portforwarding.com to a tee, but im still getting a rediculously slow dl speed. I'm running a motorola router, plugged into a run of the mill XP desktop. I'm connecting to the router wirelessly thought my HP laptop, which is what im using to download the torrents. I've exhausted all of my google skills I assure you.... Also i AM running BC 0.70 The only thing i can think of, is that my laptops static IP, and the IP that my router is sending out to the world.. are different - does that make any sense? It verywell may not.. idk, im just fishing here... any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. if you need any more info let me know i'll be glad to provide it Edit: I also noticed that in my peers tab, while downloading, all of the connections are local, no remote connections are being made.. so this means something is still blocking my listening port right? now to find out what is blocking it.. ;(
