Migrating from other BitTorrent Clients

Hi,

I am a new user here. I want to migrate from Azureus to BitComet. I have already downloaded a part of a file with Azureus. I want to download the remaining part of this file with BitComet. What I want to know is that will BitComet resume downloading from where Azureus left off, or will it start downloading the file from the very begining all over again.

I'm pretty sure that it will pick up where you left off. Just open the .torrent with Bitcomet and point the torrent task to wherever the partially downloaded file is, then select Resume. It should hash check what you already have and pick up where you left off. If it doesnt hash check and just starts all over then stop the task and rightclick on it and select Manual Hash Check.

Also if Azureus adds its own extension to partial downloads then you should remove that extension before asking Bitcomet to complete the download.
