splitzz
Is the socks proxy in bitcomet 0.7 working properly or if its compatible with tor? http://tor.eff.org. Ive been trying to use tor to see if it can bypass the bandwidth shaping on p2p that my isp is doing(protocol encryption doesnt work anymore). For a while, i dunno what i did but it seemed to be working, i was getting better downloads of 40+k instead of a crawling 4k. Then i had to reboot my windows etc and after that i cant get it back to work like before. Another thing is when i check the Logs...it kept saying proxy request failed but tor is running fine. Anyone have any ideas?
kluelos
TOR shouldn't be used with bittorrent at all, as per the request in the TOR documents. Bittorrent eats up too much bandwidth, and considering that all of it is donated by others gratis, we don't want to be taking too large a piece of it. If we do they'll throttle it out of necessity, or just stop donating it altogether. Somebody may have just blocked you for doing that.
