The UnUsual Suspect
In most cases, this is because you do not have the proper codecs installed (decoding software). Here are a couple links... CCCP (best for playing of files) http://cccp-project.net/ k lite codecs (best for playing, editing and encoding) http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm if you select the k lite pack, don't just install all the options, or you will surely have problems (default settings work fine for nearly every user) Both of these packs contain "media player classic", so please select it to install during setup. It will play many types of video that WMP and RP will not. I would also recommend Uninstalling Real Player, and install "Real Alternative". Its a free program that will allow you to play any web based R.P. files, and uses media player classic to play downloaded RP files.
