ekendraed
I have recently downloaded audio files. When it was downloading, the files had the extension .ape which after 100% download converted themselves to .m4a file format and I could play it with iTunes with no problem. I have downloaded another set of files but even though a 100% download was effected, the files do not convert to .m4a Is there anyway I can convert the files manually? Thanks
The UnUsual Suspect
Here is a free program for converting .ape files http://www.shareup.com/Ape_Ripper-download-37733.html I've never used it, so can't offer any opinion. Suspect
ekendraed
Thank you. I downloaded Ape Ripper but I was not successful in converting the .ape files. An error occurred. Wonder if there was a missing exe file that prevented the automatic conversion of .ape files to MP3 format? Wonder also why it did not automatically convert the .ape files? Cannot be a bug since Bit Comet 0.70 automatically converted .ape files to .m4a format on an earlier download. Wonder if I should download the file all over again? ekendraed
I was able to eventually convert the .ape files to .mp3 format using a FREE MP3 wma converter available at http://www.softpile.com/Multimedia/Audio/D...ad_46632_1.html It works just fine
