fruitips
Dear all, I really hope someone can help me! Here's my problem.. My previous modem was a speedtouch USB modem. I'm having a 3500kbps internet connection plan and I've recently change my modem to a ADSL2+ wireless modem. I'm currently using ethernet connection. That's when all my problem started. With my old modem, my download speed was around 90 kb/s.. after i installed my new modem, it became 5 kb/s!! It just can't go any faster.. I don't understand why. Even when I changed back my old speedtouch USB modem, the speed never went back to 90 kb/s. The max is only 15 - 20 kb/s. I've tried disabling all my firewalls/anti-virus, but it's still slow! Can someone help me??? I'm desperate!!
Dark_Shroud
First off do not type in all caps. Now to your problems, make sure you're using BitComet 0.70. Then read through our settings guide. You should have at least one firewall running. The Windows XP SP-2 firewall will do fine. What security software are you running?
