springy
Hi, I was wondering what type of encryption does bit comet offer. I know utorrent offers something called Protocol Encryption which encryptions information downloaded so that it is harder for tracing, but what does bit comet offer? Thanks
bitdave
Bitcomet v0.63+ has the same Protocol Encryption(PE) as uTorrent and Azureus. Version 0.60 - 0.62 have Protocol Header Encryption(PHE) only which doesnt work with uTorrent and Azureus.
Dark_Shroud
Also, BitComet's older PHE does not work anymore. PE barely works on some ISPs, Rogers in Canada. The Firon, mod for µTorrent, has already made jokes about making the next version disguising it self as HTTP traffic.
