little problem - bitcomet's overall dl speeds

Basically, if i download something, it claims to be downloading at say 2kbs (for example) in the main window, next to the file.

But if i look in my statistics, it claims to be downloading at a speed much greater than 2kps. Sometimes it can be off by as much as 30kbs's.

This is the same with the upload speeds as well.

Not really a problem as such because the program works correctly, but i'm wondering why it differs from beside the file, to the statistics, and title bar.

any ideas?
