horrgakx Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 Yep I get this too. I'm sure it is to do with ports though as it worked before I moved house and got a new router. It has 'autoconfig' settings for the firewall though and I have chosen Azureus and BitTorrent as programs (I'm using BitComet of course). I assumed these auto settings would be the same, both use the same ports, I list them below... TCP 6881 - 6889 Any ideas please? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bitdave Posted June 9, 2006 Share Posted June 9, 2006 Try to avoid using the standard ports 6881 - 6889. For Bitcomet you should use a single port that is within this range 49154 - 65534 for example use port 60008 and if you have a router make a rule to forward this port to your computer. If your router asks for a port range then for this example the range would be (60008 - 60008) Maybe one of the links in my sig will help both of you.
