som_nambule
After ten hours, i have only again 0.6 % of my torrent downloaded. Why ?

The UnUsual Suspect
Can you tell me about your internet connection please? What firewall are you using, and have you allowed bit comet to have full access? If your using a router, you will need to configure it properly to get optimal speeds. also, have you tried running a known good torrent? Here are some very good torrents you can use to test your client... http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/index.html try one of them and see if your speeds are good. The UnUsual Suspect
I can't download any links here  You are going to have to be more specific. Do you mean you can't download the torrent? or you can't run the torrent? or do you not understand how to download the open office torrent from that page? The UnUsual Suspect
I'm not sure why you cannot download one of these torrents. First menu is for selecting what version you want. If you are going to install in english, then take the newest version. If you want multi lingual, then select version 1.1.5. If you are just going to run it to test, then select the newest one (should be fastest). Next menu is for platform, Select "Windows" Next is for language, (newest version is English only). Once selected, the torrent file should download. If it doesn't work for you, then please give details of what part you are having trouble with. as an alternative, here is a torrent for a dvd I made for star trek new voyages. It is well seeded so will also make a good test. http://newvoyages.mine.nu:1701/torrent.htm...1860b038cc045b5 Suspect
Dark_Shroud
Are you blocked from downloading .torrent files from that website alone or is this happening in many places? One of the many techniques that ISPs and net admins use is to block the .torrent file from being downloaded.
