Jago
Hi, -I use Window$ XP SP1 so I have ICF and I wondered if it's recommended to completely disactivate it ? Because I have some doubts about the efficiency of the TCP/UDP exeption rules (use my host name and not my local ip adress) according to BitComet Auto-Config. I have a dynamic ip. Thanks. Dark_Shroud
If you use Windows Firewall then leavethe ICS ICF rule on. If you don't then disable it. Don't worry about ICS, as I highly doubt you're using that. You should consider upgradeing to SP2. If you're not because of WGA then pm me and I can help. Also putting the dollar sign in MS and windows is old. Besides Bill Gates stepped down as CEO of MS months ago anyway.
Jago
If you use Windows Firewall... Windows Firewall = ICF + ICS ? (on SP1). ...then leave the ICS ICF rule on. You mean in BitComet Options->Connection ? Thx.
