The UnUsual Suspect
This is normal. No single peer is going to connect to every seed. If you enable dht, and the torrent allows it, and some of the peers allow it, you may get more connections. Besure to restart bit comet after you enable dht Suspect

bitdave
Please go through our Settings Guide(link in my sig) to help you figure out the proper settings for your connection. Also torrent speeds can dramatically vary. It may happen sometimes where a torrent with lots of peers goes slower than a torrent with only a few peers. It all depends on the total available upload bandwidth of all the peers connected to the torrent.
The UnUsual Suspect
In addition, most slow torrents are a result of people that run more then one torrent at a time. This makes it necessary to spread our already limited upload speed among a huge number of peers, so we are slowing down everyone we connect to. It is far better to run one torrent at a time, and give fewer peers more of your upload, then move on to the next torrent. For example, I downloaded five full movies today, and fully seeded them. If I had run them all at the same time, they would have taken about the same time, but I would have hurt every peer I am connected to. kluelos
If you cannot connect to a tracker, it almost always gives a reason why you can't. Look in the Trackers tab and see what message you're getting from each tracker for this torrent.
