arboc
...I am having Trouble adding subs to my video, I know how, and did it a month ago, but now, using two different programs (TMPGENC and WINAVI) I have trouble, I get no audio, and get the program closing on me when I put in the file and try to use the program. Can anyone help? Providing a list of Codecs and stuff that I need will help. I have VOBSUB already, and FFDSHOW.
The UnUsual Suspect
Codecs shouldn't be required for adding subs to a video, but here are links to a couple good codec packs... CCCP (best for playing of files)http://cccp-project.net/ k lite codecs (best for playing, editing and encoding) http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm if you select the k lite pack, don't just install all the options, or you will surely have problems (default settings work fine for nearly every user) Both contain the ffdshow. Regarding your video, does the audio work before you add the subs? If not, then it could be that you don't have the proper codecs. There is a program called Gspot (included with k lite package) that will tell you what codecs your video requires. you can also find it using google.
