Torrents temporarily not connecting?

Hello,

I've been downloading a huge file for a while now, that connected flawlessly for more than a week of downloading so far, but suddenly I noticed today that it never connects, even after hours of waiting, restarting my computer and modem, etc.

Moreover, none of the other files I have waiting will connect. I'm assuming this isn't just a coincidence.

Are torrents temporarily not connecting at the moment? I barely know squat about torrents, so I wouldn't doubt there can be times when the servers (or whatever) are experiencing some difficulties.

By torrents not connecting, if you mean the trackers are offline, this does happen, but if all the torrents you try to run will not connect, then unless they all use the same tracker, this is not likely.

Are you getting any error messages from the tracker?

have you made any changes in your system? New firewall or security programs?

I don't think it would be likely for them to just stop working one day, unless some change was made in your system.
