Problem down load,gonna be finish down load file

i'm downloading 1 file,it gonna be finish, 97,5%,it was take for 1 day,and it could download no more, i don't understand why just alittle more will be finish, but alway 97,5% for 1 day, i always turn on computer 1 day, but could download any more.Now i can't wait to finish it, so i don't want to download more than, i think i can watch 97,5 % of that file, but i don't know to change the file because the file was name( bitcomet incomplete downloading file )This file was rmvb.

So i want to ask:that file in my computer was unknow file, so i how can i change real file rmvb even i couldn't complete down load, have any way to change? or should i have to convert this file and change like media, or avi, or rmvb.But i don't want to convert cuz size will be smaller and screen will be not good when watch it.Some body can teach me how to make Bitcomet Incomplete File change another file like ( wmv,avi,rmvb...)
