BitComent messes up AIM screennames?

Well, for the past year I've been using BitComent and its been running very well. Except for the sudden disconnects of my 3 instant messengers ( I run an online business ). I have them set on auto-reconnect since its so often but all of the sudden my AIM would not sign on. It would go through to the 3rd step "Starting Services" and never pop up with the buddy list. After about 1 minute it goes back to the login window. I am able to sign onto other computers but not mine. I think it might be some sort of history file of connects I do through AIM. But I'm not sure how to fix this. Can someone please help me?

This looks like a problem with AIM. Why do you think BitComet has anything to do with it?

Oh, I'm not blaming BitComet. The only thing BitComent did was that it made the messengers disconnect. So My question is basically where should I find the file to get rid of this, in BitComets ? Or AIM( all though I deleted the whole thing and reinstalled )

I personally thing AIM software is horrible. At least the last version I used was, so I will never install it again.

I have an Idea you might like...

I use "Gaim", which is a chat client that will work with all the major chat services, and you can log into multiple accounts and have all your chats in the same window.

http://gaim.sourceforge.net/

It is great for people that use several chat services

Suspect
