rulocal
Hi, Can anyone tell me what I should set the Total Max Download and Upload rate to. I have a 4Mb Cable broadband connection, and my download speeds are quite low most of the time. Also which port is the best one to use. Thanks in advance for any help I get Rulocal :)
petch01
Set you Global Maximum Download on "NO LIMIT". Do a speed test on for example http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ and set you Global Maximum Upload Speed to 80-100 % of the measured upload value. For ports I like to advise any port > 10000. Many lower ports are occupied by other applications. Find some more advice on setting on the forum under http://forums.bitcomet.com/index.php?showtopic=2569 Petch01

Dark_Shroud
If you don't want to use speakeasy click the little speed test image/link in my sig for a new awesome speed testing site. :) They don't require Java.
